This stable rug is breathable and strong thanks to the combination of poly-cotton (inner fabric) and ripstop polyester (outer layer). It provides extra protection under the front closure and is equipped with a shoulder gusset, belly surcingles, detachable tail cords, and a tail flap.
Ripstop is a weaving technique that makes the fabric stronger and tear-resistant. Additionally, it is very lightweight and dirt-repellent, preventing straw or shavings from sticking.
A 400g stable blanket is ideal for a clipped horse or for cold periods.
When to use it:

As a stable rug between 0 and 10°C
As a turnout rug in freezing temperatures with an underrug underneath
